Our Botanicals - Loris

Our ancient land of Australia has been home to native botanicals for tens of thousands of years. They have been understood and curated through the custodianship of First Nations people for the duration of this time.
In present days, these native food sources are the subject of renewed interest, learning, and investment from a diverse range of sectors across Australia and beyond. The interest forthcoming not only from the food and beverage industry but also from sources such as the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.
At this stage the agricultural footprint remains a minor percentage of Australia’s annual food production yield of $55B to $64B per year. Forecasts, however, expect the farm gate value to dramatically increase in coming years. This production of goods across domains showcases the unique flavours, aromas and wellbeing benefits to consumers across the world.
On this page, we would like to share our learnings with you. We have chosen a select range of native Australian fruits and herbs, taking you on a journey that  first peoples – with their connection to country – have experienced for millennia.
